BCCI has announced India’s final squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 hosted by India. In this squad experienced all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin has returned.

The race to become the world champion of cricket is going to start on October 5 and is hosted by India. The squad of all the teams had already been announced, but the date of change in the squad was set for September 28. In such a situation, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also announced its final squad.
A change has been made in this squad. R Ashwin has been replaced in place of the injured Axer Patel. Axar could not recover until the last match of the ODI series against Australia, so he could not get a place in the final squad of the World Cup.

India’s Final Squad for ODI World Cup 2023
Rohit Sharma (captain), Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Mohd. Shami and Shardul Thakur.
All 10 teams have to play 2-2 practice matches before the group stage matches. The Indian team has to play its first practice match against England on September 30 in Guwahati, for which the entire team including Ashwin has reached Guwahati.
All the warm-up matches will be played at three venues in Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Hyderabad. India’s second warm-up match is to be played against the Netherlands on October 3 at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
In these warm-up matches, all 15 players will have the opportunity to participate.
These practice matches will take place at 2 PM, and all 15 players from the team will be able to join. The World Cup 2023 is scheduled to commence in India on October 5, featuring the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.
