Breaking News! Failure of financial aid affects Ukraine.

US President Joe Biden stated that he was unsure whether financing would be available before the war-torn country lost further territory after Russia seized Avdiivka in eastern Ukraine. Congress continues to reject US help for Ukraine, leaving NATO allies struggling to fill the void.

Biden told the reporters, “There is so much on the line. The idea is that now we are running out of ammunition to walk away. I find it unethical. So I am going to fight to get them the ammunition they need.” After months of struggle for control of the city, President Joe Biden blamed the fall of Avdiivka on US senators’ refusal to grant emergency supplies to Ukraine. This gave Russia a combat win.

Last week, with bipartisan support, the US Senate approved a $95.3 billion foreign aid measure, $60 billion of which was designated for Ukraine. The house is now on a two-week holiday. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson has declared he would not bring the bill to the floor.

Recently, US officials have voiced concern over Russian victories in the conflict. They stated that the whole scenario is the consequence of Russia refusing to provide financial support. The National Security Council’s Adrienne Watson told CNN that the withdrawal from Avdiivka is a result of the foreign aid package that Congress has blocked.

The ongoing events are a matter of life and death for Ukraine and will undermine its near future.
